The perfect storm🌫️💧⁣ ⁣ Silvery blue beauty by @josh.does.hair 💙⁣ My client @pres_follow came in with a natural level 4 base wanting a light sheer blue on her ends, but wanted it to blend with her natural.⁣ 1️⃣ I prelightened her hair with @guytang_mydentity #Big9 Creme lightener mixed with the Stroke7 30 vol. ThiCC activator to give me a painting consistency while also lifting up to 8 levels.⁣ 2️⃣ I added 1/16th of an oz of @olaplex No. 1 to my bowl to protect her hair while lifting, and we processed until she was a level 9 throughout her midshafts and ends. 🙌🏼⁣ 3️⃣ I washed her hair and pretoned her with #Mydentity XPRESS toner Pearl to cancel our any warmth she still had in her hair prior to applying her color. I did this because if she were to have yellow in her hair prior to placing the blue on, it would’ve turned more teal/green. Layering color I feel is so important when you’re trying to create tones like this. 💡⁣ 4️⃣ After we processed her toner, I brought her back over to my chair and blow dried her hair until it was almost completely dry.⁣ ⁣ FORMULA:⁣ Root: 30 grams 6NI + 30 grams 6A⁣ Midshafts: 30 grams 8NI + 15 grams 8SS⁣ Ends: 30 grams 8SS⁣ ⁣ 5️⃣ We processed for 25 minutes before rinsing her hair, and when we washed her color out we washed in cold water to lock her color in. ⁣ 6️⃣ At the shampoo bowl, I ran Vibrant Pastel Arctic Blue throughout her ends and let that sit for a few minutes before rinsing.⁣ Blow dried in Myhairlube hair oil mixed with @olaplex No. 6 Bond Smoother (favorite blow dry combo) and then styled with Mystardust shine spray and sculpted her curls with Mycontrol hair spray.⁣ ⁣ #repost #cosmoprofbeauty #licensedtocreate #olaplexeveryservice #bluehaircolor #creativehair #creativecolor #hairbesties
